Chypp Names francesca's CEO Advisory Board Chairman

COLUMBUS, Ohio, October 18, 2022 -- Chypp, a full-service eCommerce and same day delivery solution for retailers and shopping malls, today announced the addition of francesca's CEO, Andrew Clarke, as its Advisory Board Chairman. The addition comes after Chypp's rebranding from CbusShops in April.

Studies show that over 25% of shoppers would abandon a cart online if same-day delivery isn't available. By adding an industry titan such as Clarke, Chypp further positions themselves as serious pioneers in the space.

"This is a very exciting day for Chypp," said Jack Hendrix, founder and CEO. "At Chypp, we pride ourselves on being built by retail, for retail. Having somebody like Andrew join our team furthers our mission of modernizing same day delivery in the retail space. We work so well together and I'm excited to have him on board."

In 2020, Chypp launched as CbusShops at Polaris Fashion Place. Soon after, they were named the official delivery service of the Number One Retail Center Experience in America after expanding to their second location, Easton Town Center. Today, customers can have products delivered from both shopping centers by simply placing a buy-online, pickup in-store order with a retailer and submitting the receipt to Chypp. However, Hendrix says this is just the beginning.

"Retail logistics has been stuck in the dark ages for too long. The industry has a massive, urgent need for innovation and our goal is to lead that charge. As we grow, you'll start to see Chypp as an option directly on major retailers' checkout pages, as well as be able to purchase their products right on," Hendrix said.

Chypp will continue to strengthen its roots in Columbus and will expand to new markets next year.

Says Hendrix, "Today propels us forward towards our goal of smart growth. We're going to change the way the industry looks at same day delivery."
